Ruth Campbell aka
Little Ruth
Hi! I’m Ruth.
- People call me “Little Ruth” because I’m named after my mom’s mom, and our family needed a way to not mix us up! Now everybody uses that nickname for me.
- My favorite food is pizza.
- Art is my favorite class at school, and I love to decorate things, like when I make designs on my clothes and my backpack.
- Family game nights are the best because we have a HUGE family—Mom, Dad, my brother, Timmy, and my sisters, Abby and Annie. Grandma always comes over with special treats for game night!!

We’re Ruth’s mom and dad, Cara and Kyle.
Cara
- It’s hard work, but I love being a mom to Ruth, Timmy, Abby, and Annie!
- In addition to “mom-ing,” I’m a lawyer, and I work at a local nonprofit.
- Volunteering and spending time with my family and friends are my favorite pastime.
Kyle
- Being a husband and dad are “my jam!" (That’s dorky dad speak, for "my favorite things!")
- I think the world of my wife, Cara, and hanging out with her is my favorite thing to do.
- I’m a Chief Technology Officer, so I get to “nerd out” with the latest computer tech every day.
- Volunteering as a coach with my son’s lacrosse team and helping his coding club are ways I give back.
- To relax, I watch football and play video games.
Abby and Annie Campbell aka
The Twins
We’re Ruth’s and Timmy’s little sisters.
- We’re best friends.
- We are also best friends with our Grandma. That’s our mommy’s mommy. Sometimes, Grandma lives with us, and she bakes the best cookies.
- We like playing with dolls and toys and eating grandma’s cookies!
Sarah Campbell aka
Grandma
I’m Ruth’s Grandma and Kyle’s mom.
- I’m a retired pediatrician, and I love kids!
- Since retiring, I’ve learned to bake. I love to bake cookies for my grandkids.
- My husband also loves kids. He is a retired school principal, affectionately known as Mr. C.
- When I’m not helping Kyle and Cara with the kids, I’m playing golf and enjoying retirement with my husband.
- Being a grandma is my greatest joy!
Timothy Campbell aka
Little Timmy
It’s Timmy, here!
- I’m Ruth’s little brother, so people call me Little Timmy. But I’m also a big brother to my sisters, Abby and Annie!
- Action figures and playing video games are the coolest, and they are my favorite things to do! Sometimes, in coding club, I make my own video games with my favorite movie action heroes!
- I love soccer, and my soccer team is awesome!
Favorite Family Memories
- Camping with my dad and grandpa!
- Going to the waterpark!
Chris Taylor
Hi! I’m Chris.
- I’m Ruth’s friend from school, and we’re neighbors. Ruth and I are the best kickball players in gym class!
- Baseball is my favorite sport, and I play on my neighborhood team, the Springwood Cubs.
- I am also a Cub Scout.
Favorite Family Memories
- Ma Ma and Pop Pop come to all my baseball games with my mom.
- Hunting and fishing during summer family vacation on Ma Ma and Pop Pop’s farm.
Sofia Flores
I’m Sofia!
- I met Ruth at school on her first day. We were all playing kickball, and it was so fun!
- When I’m not playing kickball with my friends, I love doing gymnastics and going swimming.
Favorite Family Memories
- Making arepas with my abuela. I love helping make the masa.
- Parties with my family. All my cousins, aunts, and uncles come, and it’s the best time ever!
Lily Liu
Hi everybody, I’m Lily!
- I’m best friends with Ruth, Sofia, Zoey, and Charlotte. We do everything together.
- When I’m not playing with my friends, I’m playing piano, at my acting club, or hanging out with my family.
- My favorite time at school is recess, music class, and language arts.

- Summer camp with my little brother, Carter.
- Riding bikes with my big brother Andrew.
- Beach trips with my whole family
Charlotte Smith
Hey! I’m Charlotte!
- I live with my mom and dad, and I have a little sister.
- Making arts and crafts is one of my favorite things to do.
- I was so happy to meet Ruth at arts and crafts club because my family just moved back to Springwood.
- I was born here, but we were living in England for a while for my dad’s job. It was fun to live in England because my dad’s family lives there.
Favorite Family Memories
- Going to the lake with my parents and baby sister!
- Eating Cadbury chocolates with my family at Easter!
Zoey Aaron
Hey! I’m Zoey!
- I’ve lived in Springwood my whole life, but my family is from a bunch of different places in the world!
- I have a twin brother and a little sister.
- Science is my favorite class in school.
Favorite Family Memories
- Thanksgiving with my family is the best. We eat a bunch of my families’ favorite foods.
- Building a fort with my brother and sister and then watching movies in it with our parents.
